Vietnam - India Women Empowerment Scholarships - Call for applications 2022

Launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties between Vietnam and India, the exclusive scholarship program aims to contribute to the promotion and empowerment of the future generation of women leaders in India. Under the scholarship, top Indian female students willing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Vietnam are financially funded to study 1 among 6 programs with International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. All of the programs are delivered in English.

Eligibility

• Female of Indian citizenship;
• No concurrent scholarships;
• Meet all entry requirements to a Bachelor's degree program awarded by VNU.
• IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or higher;
• Curriculum Vitae and personal essay showcase your achievements and action plan
• Have a recommendation letter from the Embassy of India or the Consulate General of India in Vietnam
• Applicant who does not hold a Master degree or a PhD candidate, or not a full-time student.

Scholarship selection criteria are considered and decided by VNU-IS's Scholarship Committee. For Vietnam scholarship and Hanoi scholarship applicants, it should be notified that scholarship awardees may have to maintain undergraduate academic excellence to remain scholarship benefits every semester.
 
2. Application
2.1. For scholarship application:

• Scholarship form
• Scholarship essay that clearly shows your goals, future plans, and an action plan if you receive a scholarship.
• A recommendation letter from the Embassy of India or the Consulate General of India in Vietnam

2.2. For admission application:

• Application Form
• High School Diploma
• High School Transcripts of all years
• Bank Statement shows the balance sufficient for at least 1 year of tuition and fee. If the account owner is not the student, the applicant must include a Financial Commitment Letter signed by the sponsor
• Passport scan
• Health check/certificate
• Criminal records clearance
