International Freshmen Orientation - A new chapter, a new home at VNUIS
Yesterday on April 13, 2022, at the Russian Centre of Russkiy Mir Foundation, Xuan Thuy campus, new international students of the academic year 2022 came together to join the Orientation for international freshmen.
The event was co-organized by the Office of Student Affairs and the International Student Club (ISC). From strangers to friends, students from different continents were brought closer through fun games and sincere sharings from the faculty and ISC.
Elina Chan (Russian) shared her feelings: "I can participate in events like this every week, I hope the school will organize more gatherings for us in the near future."
Genylda Mendez (Timorese) said: “It's my first time going to a place so far away from home, but I feel very happy because I have made friends with other international and Vietnamese students before. I have learned more about the school and met friends who are always willing to help me.”
As an active student who has been living in Vietnam for more than 2 years, Satyam (Indian) shared his own experience: "The fastest way to get to know a Vietnamese friend is to sit down and start a conversation. The story simply begins with Hi…”
Currently, there are students coming from 15 different countries who have been living and studying at VNU-IS. We hope that the multicultural community will continue to grow stronger day by day.
